Our verdict on EroPlay

Best for plot-led erotic stories with several characters in one scene

EroPlay (branded EroPlay.ai) is a browser platform for explicit AI roleplay organised around scenarios. Each one sets up a location, a backstory and one or more characters; you choose what to say and do, and the AI voices the characters plus a narrator. The terms of service (27 January 2026) identify ChatMist, Inc., a Delaware corporation, as the company, with ChatMist OÜ, registered in Estonia in December 2025, acting as billing agent; the 2025 footer showed 'SIA ChatMist', and the domain goes back to January 2024. The catalogue holds 179 official scenarios, 164 with short MP4 video covers, featuring 118 official characters (98 women, trans women among them, and 20 men; 106 realistic and 12 anime). Of those scenarios, 118 are free and 61 require Premium. You can also design characters, build scenarios with up to five characters, create photos and 5 to 30 second videos, hear replies read aloud and buy 'Hot-packs' of prepared media, all in six interface languages.

You do not need a card. A visitor can launch a free scenario just by naming a persona, signing up takes an email or a Google, Discord or X account, and free chats run on a simpler model that only shares photos at key story moments and blurs hidden content. The free message cap is unpublished; we got 32 messages in one scenario. Premium was priced at 14.99 USD monthly or 46.92 yearly (displayed as 3.91 a month) on 25 September 2026, yet the FAQ text in the page source and 2026 third-party reviews quote 89.99 a year, and the site's code allows the server to set prices by traffic source and A/B test. Premium unlocks unlimited text, every scenario, unblurred content, the stronger model and the creation tools, but most extras still need Flames, sold only to subscribers: 20 for a photo, 119 to 499 for a video, 10 for a new character, 1 per voice paragraph and 170 to 640 for a Hot-pack. Packs range from 500 Flames at 9.99 to 20,000 at 199.99, which works out to about 0.20 to 0.40 USD per photo. Subscription fees cannot be refunded, and 14 days after Premium ends the generated photos, videos, characters and scenario chats are removed.

The site fits people who want guided, plot-led erotic roleplay from a big official catalogue, male, gay and trans scenarios included, with cheap yearly text access. Its limits: no native apps or voice calls, memory that slips in long chats, and user reports that 2026 updates locked character creation behind Flames and erased custom scenarios. On content, 45 of the 179 scenarios use the site's student, school or dormitory tags (the linked characters are all listed as 19 to 42, and two scenarios take place around a classroom), and a few rely on premises such as a stranger pressing against the user on a packed train (tagged harassment), a burglar in a woman's bedroom, mind control or a sleeping woman, even though the terms forbid non-consensual content. The paywall promises a discreet 'ChatMist OU' card descriptor, yet Hotjar, Google Analytics, Meta and Snapchat pixels and an ExoClick tag fire with no cookie choice, and in September 2026 a UK user said the site had stopped working there.

Why this score. Chat quality 6: hands-on reviews from 2026, mostly on sites carrying affiliate links, report natural and coherent answers across 40-plus messages but weaker recall as the story gets longer; Trustpilot users like the language model, while others find dialogue that stops making sense and stories that lose earlier events, and free chats use a lighter model. Characters 7: 179 official scenarios with written premises (164 with video covers) and 118 official characters covering men, gay, trans and anime, plus a weekly new-story promise, held back by the lack of a community library, 61 Premium-only scenarios, 11 with extra Flames prices, a quarter of the catalogue tagged student, school or dormitory, and a few non-consent premises. Features 8: an AI-assisted scenario builder for up to five characters and a narrator, a detailed character creator, on-demand photos and 5 to 30 second videos, read-aloud voices for characters and narrator, reply suggestions, standing chat instructions, difficulty and writing-style controls and six interface languages; missing are voice calls, native apps and reference-image uploads. Value 5: the yearly plan at 46.92 (3.91 a month) covers unlimited text roleplay, but monthly costs 14.99, no Flames allowance is stated, almost every photo, video, voice line, new character, Hot-pack and scenario unlock needs Flames that only subscribers can purchase, Hot-packs and generated media disappear once Premium ends, and fees are non-refundable. Privacy 4: sign-up needs only an email or a Google, Discord or X login and a 'ChatMist OU' card descriptor is promised, but Hotjar session recording, Meta and Snapchat pixels and an ExoClick tag run without any cookie choice, the boilerplate privacy policy omits AI providers and retention periods, the terms allow generated content to be used to improve models, admin tools can sign in as a user, and the operator's stated base shifts between Latvia, Estonia and Delaware. UX 6: a tidy web app in six languages with tag filters, video covers and guest play after you name a persona, offset by the lack of native apps, struck-through reference prices on the paywall, Flames limited to subscribers and 2026 updates that users say erased their custom scenarios; one UK user says the site no longer loads there.

HANDS-ON TEST 26 Sep 2026

We tested EroPlay on a free account

We opened a fresh English-language account and played the Commando Date scenario with Jane. Every figure below comes from our own session in a normal browser, not from the platform's marketing.

In a single scenario, the paywall appeared on message 33.

The 33rd message opened the paywall. Another 2026 review counted 15; our single-scenario test reached 32.

  3. Explicit sexYes

The free tier went explicit, told as third-person narration. Instead of our persona, the story used a stock name ("Rick") for us. Much of the scenario list leans on step-family and first-time set-ups, so we picked a first date.

A card is not required. Without an account, a visitor can start a free scenario by naming a persona (name, gender and up to 1,000 characters of self-description), and signing up uses an email confirmed by link or a Google, Discord or X account. Of the 179 official scenarios, 118 are free; according to the FAQ, free chats run a simpler language model, share photos only at key story moments and keep hidden content blurred. EroPlay does not publish a free message count; our new account reached 32 messages in one scenario on 26 September 2026 before the Premium paywall appeared, a 2026 third-party review counted 15 free messages plus one video clip, and a third-party review site mentions a daily cap. Character and scenario creation, photo and video generation, voice and Flames purchases are all Premium-only. Trial: No Premium trial appeared in the prices served on 25 September 2026. The site's code contains offers that can be switched on: a 3-day trial of the yearly plan ('Try for 3 days' at a trial price, then yearly billing), a '14 Days - Free' option for users moved to a new payment system, 'Premium 80% OFF' and 'Renew now 90% OFF' banners, one-off discounts after a failed renewal, a 24-month 'Save 80%' deal on the cancellation screen and a 25% discount for visitors referred by ThePornDude. Promo codes are entered in the profile.

Paid

from $3.91/mo

Billed yearly ($46.92 a year). Month to month: $14.99.

the cheapest of 28 platforms

Premium pays for unlimited text messages, while nearly everything else is charged in Flames, which only subscribers can buy (anyone else is routed to the Premium paywall by the site's code). The public price list charges 20 Flames per photo in chat or in the media generator, 10 per avatar or cover image, 10 to create a character, 1 per AI suggestion when building a character or replying, 50 the first time a standing chat instruction is activated (later edits cost nothing), 1 per paragraph of read-aloud voice, and 119, 219, 299 or 499 Flames for videos of 5, 10, 15 or 30 seconds. Certain scenarios need 299 to 575 Flames to unlock, three 'Hot Novella' Scenario Books are 275 or 375, the 18 listed Hot-packs are 170 to 640, and gifts for characters also use Flames. Packs: 500 Flames for 9.99, 1,100 for 19.99, 2,500 for 39.99 (labelled popular), 6,000 for 79.99, 10,500 for 119.99 and 20,000 for 199.99 (labelled best), falling from 19.98 to 10.00 per 1,000 Flames; the bonus badges (+10% to +100%) line up with the smallest pack's rate, but the struck-through prices of 35 to 300 do not. In practice a photo costs about 0.20 to 0.40 USD and a 5-second video about 1.19 to 2.38. A survey also pays out Flames. One March 2026 Trustpilot reviewer reports getting 100 Flames with the subscription, which the site itself does not mention.

Premium

$46.92/yr ($3.91/mo) · $14.99/mo

On yearly billing the charge was 46.92 a year (displayed as 3.91 a month) in the prices returned by the site's API on 25 September 2026, when the FAQ said '1 year: $46.92 (just $3.91/month, saving you 74% over a year)'. The FAQ copy embedded in the page source still quotes 89.99 a year (7.49 a month, 'saving you 42%', which fits an older 12.99 monthly price), 2026 third-party reviews give 89.99 a year and 12.99 a month, and the code states that the server picks prices by traffic source and A/B test. Included: unlimited text messages, every scenario and its media, unblurred hidden content, the top language model, the character and scenario creators, photo and video generation paid in Flames, beta features and priority support. In the paywall code, the monthly price sits beside a struck-through 19.99 and the yearly price beside 7.50 a month, under a 'Save 50%' badge.

Refunds: Under the terms (27 January 2026) you can cancel whenever you like and keep access until the billing period ends, when the account drops back to the free version. Subscription fees are never refunded, on the grounds that a free version is available to try first, and accidental purchases are reviewed for a refund only in exceptional cases at the company's discretion (support@eroplay.ai). Flames, Hot-packs and scenario unlocks are not covered by the terms. According to the cancellation screen, generated photos, videos, characters and scenario chats are erased for good 14 days after the subscription runs out, and bought Hot-packs stop being available. Complaints get a reply within 5 business days, per the complaints policy.

There are no dedicated memory tools; replies rely on the ongoing chat, and the FAQ notes that free users get a simpler model while Premium gets the strongest. The home page says characters keep key details between sessions. Hands-on reviews from 2026 found answers consistent through sessions of 40-plus messages but recall weakening in longer stories, one estimating five or six rounds of memory on the free model and over 20 on Premium; Trustpilot users report stories losing earlier events. Pros

  • 179 official scenarios (164 of them with short MP4 video covers) featuring 118 official characters, with men, gay, trans and anime choices included
  • Yearly Premium costs 46.92 (roughly 3.91 a month at the prices shown on 25 September 2026) and unlocks unlimited text roleplay across the whole catalogue
  • A scenario builder that either expands a short idea into a story or lets you control every detail, with up to five characters, a narrator and AI suggestions, alongside a detailed character creator
  • On-demand photos and 5 to 30 second videos of characters, read-aloud voices for characters and narrator, suggested replies and standing chat instructions
  • You can start free scenarios without an account once you name a persona, and signing up only asks for an email or a Google, Discord or X login
  • Six languages for the interface and catalogue, plus a paywall promise of a discreet 'ChatMist OU' card descriptor

Cons

  • Premium leaves most extras to Flames: 20 for a photo, 119 to 499 for a video, 10 for a new character, 1 per voice paragraph and 170 to 640 for a Hot-pack, and only subscribers can buy Flames
  • No subscription fee is refunded, and 14 days after Premium lapses the generated photos, videos, characters and scenario chats are erased while bought Hot-packs stop working
  • Free accounts get a simpler model, blurred content and an unpublished message cap (we got 32), 61 of the 179 scenarios are Premium-only, and prices change with traffic source and A/B tests
  • About a quarter of scenarios use student, school or dormitory themes, and a handful rely on non-consent premises (public-transport harassment, a burglar, mind control, a sleeping woman) that the terms forbid in user content
  • Hotjar session recording, Meta and Snapchat pixels and an ExoClick tag run with no cookie choice, and the privacy policy lists neither AI providers nor retention periods
  • There are no native apps or voice calls, long chats lose memory, and users say 2026 updates erased custom scenarios and moved character creation behind Flames

What users say elsewhere

Ratings and repeated themes gathered from other sites on 25 Sep 2026. They do not feed into our score.

Trustpilot★3.214 reviews↗︎

8 of the 14 reviews came through company invitations between 27 May and 9 June 2026 and average about 4 stars; the 6 organic reviews average 1.5.

Praised for

  • Players like the broad set of ready-made scenarios and the freedom to take each story in their own direction.
  • The language model, image generation and scenario builder get good marks, and several reviewers found conversations natural.
  • Some describe a responsive team that listens to feedback and fixes reported bugs.

Common complaints

  • The 2026 changes keep coming: character creation now costs Flames with fewer options, and a system update erased some users' custom scenarios and stories.
  • Because most actions need extra Flames, the subscription feels light to some, and a few go as far as calling it a money grab or a scam.
  • Stories lose track of earlier events, dialogue can drift into nonsense, pictures may not fit the scene, and official characters sometimes barge into user-made stories.

Questions about EroPlay

Straight answers from our test and the platform's own pages.

Try EroPlay free ↗
Is EroPlay free?

Yes, there is a free tier, and you need no card for it. Without signing up, you can open a free scenario by naming a persona (name, gender and up to 1,000 characters about yourself); an account takes an email confirmed by link or a Google, Discord or X login. Of the 179 official scenarios, 118 are free, and the FAQ says free chats use a simpler language model, show photos only at key story moments and keep hidden content blurred. The free message limit is not published: our new account got 32 messages in one scenario on 26 September 2026 before hitting the Premium paywall, a 2026 third-party review counted 15 free messages and one video clip, and a third-party review site reports a daily cap. Creating characters or scenarios, making photos and videos, voice and buying Flames all require Premium. Paid plans begin at $3.91 a month when billed yearly, or $14.99 month to month.

How many free messages does EroPlay give?

Our new free account received 32 messages in all when we tested it on 26 Sep 2026. The paywall appeared on the 33rd message, within a single scenario. A third-party review from 2026 counted only 15, while we reached 32 in one scenario.

Is EroPlay filtered on the free plan?

On a free account in our 26 Sep 2026 test, flirting, undressing and explicit sex all worked. The free tier went explicit using third-person narration. The story addressed us by a stock name ("Rick") rather than our persona. Much of the scenario list relies on step-family and first-time set-ups, so we chose a first date.

How much does EroPlay cost?

You pay $14.99 if you go month to month, or $3.91 a month when billed yearly ($46.92 a year). We checked these prices on 26 September 2026; please confirm them on the platform before you pay.

Does EroPlay allow NSFW chat?

Yes. Explicit chat between adults is permitted, with no filter in place.

Is EroPlay safe to use?

The operator is ChatMist OÜ (Estonia). Your card statement shows a neutral name rather than the site, and no real name is needed to sign up. You can pay by credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard) through Stripe and TrustPay according to the site's code, or with Google Pay and Apple Pay as the paywall shows. Accounts use an email and password (confirmed through a link) or a Google, Discord or X login, with no phone number or ID required, and a free scenario can begin with nothing but a persona name. The privacy policy (22 January 2026) names Chatmist, Inc., a Delaware corporation, lists Latvia as the country and describes collecting email addresses and usage data (IP address, device, pages visited) with essential, cookie-notice and preference cookies; it permits sharing with service providers, affiliates, promotional business partners and any buyer of the business, keeps data 'as long as necessary' with no set periods, and says nothing about chat content or AI model providers. The terms (27 January 2026) allow the company to retain and use platform-generated content to improve its models, to screen user content with AI and check flagged items manually, and to email past customers with promotions until they opt out, while the FAQ claims messages are encrypted and only the user can read them. The home page runs Hotjar (session recording), Google Analytics, Meta and Snapchat pixels and an ExoClick conversion tag that calls a dozen more ad-network domains, all without a cookie choice; the code can also load TikTok and X pixels, sends errors to Sentry and contains admin tools for signing in as a user. The paywall states that statements read 'ChatMist OU' with 'Premium Access features' or 'Premium chat features'; a third-party review site says charges can show as VITALWAY. You can delete your account in the profile, but that email cannot be reused, and generated content is removed 14 days after Premium ends. As with any AI companion, avoid sharing anything that could identify you or other real people.

Does EroPlay have voice, images or video?

Voice: yes. Image generation: yes. Video: yes. Expect most of these to sit behind a paid plan.

Is there an EroPlay app?

There is no store app; EroPlay works in your browser, and you can pin it to your home screen like an app.

Who runs EroPlay?

ChatMist OÜ, a company based in Estonia, operates EroPlay. The service launched in 2024.

What we could not verify

  • Whether the free cap applies per scenario, per day or per account: we got 32 messages in one scenario on 26 September 2026, a 2026 third-party review counted 15, and a third-party review site mentions a daily cap.
  • The yearly price: on 25 September 2026 the site's API returned 46.92 a year (3.91 a month) when checked from Portugal, but the FAQ text in the page source and 2026 third-party reviews say 89.99; since the code varies prices by traffic source and A/B test, other visitors may be quoted differently.
  • Whether Premium comes with Flames: the site states no allowance, the sign-up bonus is only an internal setting, and one March 2026 Trustpilot reviewer reports receiving 100 Flames with the subscription.
  • The card descriptor: the paywall promises 'ChatMist OU' with 'Premium Access features' or 'Premium chat features', while a third-party review site says charges can read VITALWAY; we did not confirm either on a real statement.
  • Access from the UK: a Trustpilot review from September 2026 says UK visitors now get a message asking them to contact support for a refund of their remaining subscription; we could not test this from outside the UK, and we do not know whether other countries are blocked.
  • Refunds for Flames, Hot-packs and scenario unlocks, none of which the terms address.
  • Which chat, image, video and voice models power the service.
  • Whether characters answer in the chosen interface language: the catalogue exists in five languages besides English, but we did not test chat language.
  • How the content rules in the terms fit the official catalogue: the terms prohibit non-consensual content, consensual non-consent included, and any roleplay with characters under 18, yet a few official scenarios use non-consent premises and a quarter carry student, school or dormitory tags.
  • Size claims: interface copy promises '300+ scenarios' and the FAQ weekly new stories, but the public list showed 179 scenarios on 25 September 2026.
  • PayPal shows up only on a landing page aimed at ad traffic; it is unclear whether the standard checkout takes it.
