Our verdict on FantasyGF

Best for detailed character design and live voice calls

FantasyGF (fantasygf.com, with the older fantasygf.ai address forwarding to it) is an AI girlfriend service run by ADVANCED AI LABS S.R.L., a company in Oradea, Romania. You can talk to ready-made characters in the girl, guy and anime categories, design your own in a visual creator, or browse characters that other members have built. Besides text chat, it offers image generation, short videos, voice messages and live voice calls.

According to the terms, a subscription costs 12.99 USD a month, 29.99 a quarter or 69.99 a year, and a June 2026 review says paid plans come with 100 tokens a month. Media is paid for with tokens and content packs, which are sold separately as one-time purchases. A free account gets 17 messages in total (in our test), and its images are blurred.

FantasyGF is a good match if you want to design a character visually and also get calls and pictures. The main drawbacks: token pack prices are missing from the public site, reviewers find memory weak in long chats, there is no native app, and the terms give the company a perpetual license to whatever you generate.

Screenshot of FantasyGF, Sep 2026.

Why this score. Chat quality 6: reviews from 2026 find the chat capable, but memory is thin. Characters 7: more than 95 presets spread over girls, guys and anime, plus member-made characters and a strong visual creator. Features 8: big image batches, short videos, voice messages and live calls. Value 6: the advertised subscription prices are low, but tokens are unpriced in public and raise the total cost. Privacy 5: a neutral billing descriptor is reported, yet the content license never expires and the privacy policy permits wide sharing. UX 7: reviewers praise a polished interface that is mostly free of ads, though there are no native apps. Because evidence on tokens is limited, the value and features scores stay moderate.

You enter an email and password, confirm a six-digit code sent by email, and then fill in a nickname and gender form inside the first chat.
The limit screen
"First subscription! Up to 75% off" appears with a 7-minute timer, listing 12 months 69.99, 3 months 29.99 and 1 month 12.99.
Pictures
On a free account images and videos stay blurred; creating new ones costs tokens (Premium includes 100 a month).

The typing indicator appears in under a second, and the full reply arrives after roughly 10 seconds; replies are not streamed, so there is no separate time to first words. Until we chose a nickname, the opening greeting addressed us as "Bot", a name taken from the email.

What users say elsewhere

Ratings and common themes collected from other sites on 25 Sep 2026. None of it counts toward our score.

Praised for

  • The image quality, anime styles included, is what draws most people in.
  • It works well for light, spicy chat, and the yearly premium plan is reasonably priced.

  • Billing and support issues, such as charges after cancelling, crypto payments that never get credited, and unanswered emails.
