CrushOn.AI is a character chat service operated by TECHIEPIE LTD, a Cyprus-registered company. Users build and publish most of the characters, which are sorted with detailed tags, and you can make your own with a custom greeting, personality and voice. Conversations run on a choice of free, Pro and Ultra language models; free accounts get 8K memory, while the highest tiers unlock 24K-memory models.
The CrushOn.AI price structure blends subscriptions with credits. Every plan has unlimited use of free models, and free users also receive 100 credits a month for Pro models. Paid tiers cost 5.99 to 199.99 USD a month and come with 2,000 to 125,000 credits, group chat and longer answers. A separate add-on removes credit costs for Pro models.
It is a good fit for roleplayers who want a huge character choice and control over the model. The main drawbacks: credits are complicated, free chat history disappears after 7 days without activity, there is no app-store app, and the privacy policy lets chats be used to train models.
Why this score. Chat quality 7: reviews from 2026 praise roleplay on the Pro and Ultra models but report memory lapses during long scenes on free models. Characters 8: a big community library with wide-ranging tags, trans and genderless characters included, although quality is uneven. We opened a fresh English-language account and chatted with Mae ("Emergency Cuddle Buddy", 22), one of the community's most popular characters. Every result below comes from our own session in an ordinary browser, not from claims on the site.

Free accounts receive 100 message credits each month. Fresh chats default to Carina 8K at 2 credits per message, so the allowance was used up after 50 messages with no warning. The chat then quietly moved to Free Carina, and reply times stretched from roughly 12 seconds to roughly 18.

Group chat is not included, and history is wiped after 7 days without activity. When we tested on 27 September 2026, fresh chats opened on Carina 8K at 2 credits per message, so all 100 credits were spent after 50 messages with no prompt; the chat then showed "You are out of messages" and switched to the slower Free Carina model, which handled 44 further messages without stopping. Trial: we found no trial for paid tiers. The free tier does not expire.

Chats open on Carina 8K, which used 2 credits per message, so the credits were gone after 50 messages with no prompt; the chat then changed to Free Carina and replies slowed from about 12 seconds to about 18.
