On 26 September 2026 our free account received 10 messages, counted across the whole account and every character (the interface calls the free plan 'Free 20 messages'; the terms say typically 10 to 20), plus one custom character. A subscription is required for video, audio messages and voice calls. The site's code includes sign-up variants that promise 25 or 30 free Dream Coins, but our account got none, so the free image generations stayed locked. Paid plans start at $5.83 a month billed yearly ($11.99 month to month).

Miracle AI UG (Germany) operates Dream Companion, and your card statement shows a neutral name rather than the site's. You do not have to give your real name to sign up. Payment: credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard; prepaid cards accepted), Apple Pay, Google Pay, an 'Alternative Payment Method' hosted checkout (routed to the processor Shift4 in the site's code). Bank statements list subscriptions and coin purchases as 'Miracle AI', and the payment pages describe billing as 'Discreet' with 'data protection in bank statements'. PayPal is not an option. To sign up you need only an email address (verified with a 4-digit code) or a Google, Discord or X login, and the FAQ recommends a pseudonym and a burner email.

The privacy policy (last modified 3 August 2024, written for the GDPR) states that chats are stored encrypted, without naming a standard, that data is held only as long as needed, and that anonymized or aggregated data may help improve the AI models. The terms grant the company a perpetual, irrevocable licence to whatever users submit. The policy names Meta, Google Ads, Google Analytics, TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit, JuicyAds and TrafficJunky tracking along with Hotjar and Klaviyo email; the site additionally loads Taboola, PostHog and Sentry, and when we checked on 25 September 2026 the Taboola pixel went on logging events after we chose 'Only Necessary' cookies.

Pictures and videos that users make of public characters may show up, blurred until unlocked, in a community gallery on that character's page. You can delete your account in settings once every paid plan is cancelled. Moderation mixes automated filters with human review, flagged private chats included. As with any AI companion, keep back details that could identify you or other real people.

There is no native app: Dream Companion works in the browser, and you can pin it to your home screen.
